A quick glance at my side bar will show you that it has been a long time since my last post. I didn't mean to stop blogging; life was busy and my daily store of time and energy didn't stretch to posting. Once you've left a long enough gap, it is difficult to start again.
Life is still busy, but I have missed the community spirit and all the friends I have made here. I also need the accountability and discipline that blogging imposes; my creative output has slowed somewhat lately! So to everyone who is still listening, "Hello" and "I've missed you!".
So glad to 'see' you again. WS xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Lesley. Nice to see you back in Blogland!

Missed you too. What have you been up to? I have had a poorly girl but I have managed to escape and finished my Elise Shawl, take a look - it is a fab pattern. Jo x
ReplyDeleteWelcome back - missed you. Looking forward to catching up. Hope all is well xx
ReplyDeleteSometimes your choices are thrust on you by life. I have been "away" for a few days,so much going on and a sulky laptop that made me throw it in a corner and ignore it. I will blog later after copious amounts of tea. It is good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteLesley I am so glad that you are back, I have really missed you loads and was going to email but didn't want to intrude. It is difficult sometimes keeping pace with blogging and I have struggled myself but the rewards are so wonderful I know that it is worth it. Look forward to your posts Lesley, have a great Sunday and wonderful to have you back. Big hugs

Thank you everyone! It is good to be back - I will update you all with my news soon.
ReplyDelete@Jo What a beautiful shawl! I am very tempted, but I've got a few projects to finish off first. x
Lovely to have you back here, I think we all need a break from"stuff"now and again
ReplyDeleteTake care
So glad you are checking in, Lesley :) I blog as I am able...about once a week, although I am not on a rigid schedule. I just so enjoy this form of communication that encourages my creative interests, and allows me to encourage others' creative interests...a win win activity to my way of thinking :) Yesterday I met with some friends for faith sharing and scrap booking. We had a great time! I am working on a first year scrap book for my newest grand. For the other grands I have taken pictures of their first year and created a little story for them that includes some ABCs and 1-10 practice. Fun for me, hopefully for them! xx
