Seasonally prepared!

What else do you do during a heatwave...

except knit woolly hats? A girl has to be prepared for all eventualities!

Many thanks to Morgan from "Growing in the Fens" for the wool and pattern.

  1. Lesley I do love these colours - remember that summer will quickly fade after August and already there are loads of signs that Christmas things are on their way - saw new advent kits yesterday..........
    Lots of love

  2. I agree, that is just beautiful Lesley, lovely pattern and colours. So useful for when the nights start drawing in and w*nter returns.

  4. Lesley, I too love the colors and pattern you have used for the hat, and you completed it in spite of a heat wave :) Good for you! I have had a simple hat on a set of circular needles for well over a year, but I am easily distracted and launch willy-nilly into all sort of creative pursuits so that finishing anything seems rather miraculous :) Blessings to you and yours,
    Gracie xx

  5. That is SO pretty - and the colours will go with all sorts of things. Is it done on circular needles or have you got a niftily disguised seam in there somewhere?

summer blessings, my hot-headed friend!! xx

    1. There's a seam, cunningly hidden around the other side of DD's head!
